At the public library we have acquired a female red-eared slider turtle that goes by the name of Cruiser. You will often find her either wandering around the library, swimming in her tank or sunbathing on her rock. Cruiser is 30 years old, and has been a part of this school - and now the library - since the ’80s. She loves fruit, meal worms, being spoiled, and lots of company.
