Cruiser

At the public library we have acquired a female red-eared slider turtle that goes by the name of Cruiser. You will often find her either wandering around the library, swimming in her tank or sunbathing on her rock. Cruiser is 40 years old, and has been a part of this school - and now the library - since the ’80s. She loves fruit, meal worms, being spoiled, and lots of company.

Birds native to Grande Cache will be in your booklet. What we want you to do is find the birds of the week. Take a picture if possible and post it to our Facebook page. Listen to their songs. Where is the bird? What is it doing? What is it near? Color your pictures in your booklet after you see the bird.
